Как и во многих местах, все прекрасное начало рушиться в перестройку. Затем был распад Советского Союза, приказал долго жить колхоз, после чего полное безвременье накрыло некогда богатое село. Кто мог — уезжали подальше, кто не мог — безвестно умирали.
Пережив эти времена, супруги все же не потеряли надежды, что однажды это все обернется позитивными изменениями. И они постепенно начались, когда «Многодетные деревни» зародились здесь и сюда приехали первые переселенцы — Морозовы. Супруги рассказали, с чего начинается облагораживание деревень, и поделились, как и чем сегодня живет Рухань на резном берегу петляющей Ипути.
