Знакомство художника с Булатом Галеевым произошло на конференции «Свет и музыка» в 1967 году. Вячеслав Колейчук тогда представлял московскую группу «Движение», на которую приезжали до 70 годов совместно с Львом Нуссбергом, Франсиско Инфанте и Сергеем Зориным. После 70-х коллектив распался, но коммуникация Галеева и Колейчука продолжалась, так они сразу стали единомышленниками и друзьями.
