Наряду с ростом числа электромобилей в стране, импорт этого типа транспортных средств также достиг рекордного уровня. Согласно официальной статистике за январь-ноябрь 2024 года, на покупку 4711 электромобилей было потрачено 91,5 млн$. Стоимость импорта увеличилась на 82,7% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом 2023 года. Хотя около 25% из них были потом реэкспортированы.
