Для Южного Урала использование природного газа является одним из важнейших вопросов, поскольку это означает позитивный эффект в плане экологии, а также позволяет экономить бюджетные расходы на автомобильное топливо.
Сейчас на Южном Урале уже работает 16 станций с возможностью заправки компримированным природным газом. До конца 2024 года планируется создать на территории области заправочную инфраструктуру из более полусотни объектов.
