Об этом заявил министр по делам Северной Ирландии Брендон Льюис в интервью Sky News.
Он заявил про попавших в плен гражданах Великобритании, что "они не должны были быть там (т.е. в Украине)", и отказался подтвердить, что правительство работает над возвращением пленных британцев в Великобританию, завяив, что он не может комментировать "вопросы национальной безопасности".
Напомним, ранее жена Медведчука Оксана Марченко предложила обменять своего мужа на двух британцев, которые воевали за Украину и попали в плен в Мариуполе. Это предложение поддержала и Россия.
