Данный вид бронезащиты не поставляли штатно в 45ую бригаду , а выдали перед одной задачей. Суть её заключалась в том , чтобы высадится безпарашютным способом с вертолетов на крышу дворца Дудаева и зачистить здание сверху. В последний момент это слава Богу отменили.

Некоторые утверждают что десантирование без парашютным способом больше не эффективно, но даже в условиях современной войны , данный способ используются некоторыми подразделениями .
