Миша уже два месяца хотел купить последний том приложений к ПСС Константина Леонтьева (вышедший мизерным тиражом в питерском издательстве «Владимир Даль»). И сегодня мы наконец решили покататься на Машине Времени — и побывали в камерном книжном «Гнозис», снимающем помещения у старообрядческого храма на Остоженке.
Это вам не заказать книгу на Озоне или WB и даже не купить ее на Арбате или Тверской! Это — почти что таинство!
Не смогу описать для тех, кто его не испытывал и, уверена, меня поймут те, кто испытывал! Настоящая старая книжная Москва. В двух шагах от бывшего известного букинистического около маленького выхода «Парка Культуры», который, увы, не пережил новые времена.
Ну и особое счастье, что мы из дома до Остоженки дошли пешочком))

Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
