Сегодня 26/01/25 где-то в 04:30 оторвался по неизвестным причинам кабель Sweden-Latvia, принадлежащий Latvia State Radio and Television Centre. В этом кабеле есть каналы для международного транзита трафика в том числе и российскими операторами связи. Обрыв произошел где-то посередине между Вентспилсом и островом Готланд.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
