Среди депутатов-мусульман двое - откровенные исламисты, прошедшие как независимые кандидаты. Две депутатши от победивших лейбористов - в хиджабах.
Правда, где-то половина избранных мусульман - женщины без платков. Большинство их - лейбористы, но есть и консерваторы, и либерал-демократы. Большинство - из Пакистана и Бангладеш, но есть трое турок, арабы и негры-мусульмане.
Получился самый "мультикультурный" парламент в истории. И это - по одномандатным округам... А подключи партийные списки - был бы ещё "мультикультурнее".
Учитывая привязанность части нашей "ЫЛыты" к Британии, становится понятным, где она черпает пример для подражания...
