Снова сели за стол, продолжаем, и, словно призрак, в белой ночной рубашке жена его, Люба Соколова, входит и ласково так просит: «Гиечка, Бубочка, ну не пейте больше». Вдруг Данелия в гневе достает пистолет и стреляет в нее — почти в упор. Люба падает... Я протрезвел мгновенно, в ужасе бросился к ней, думаю — убил! Представляете мое состояние? Откуда было знать, что пистолет газовый, а Любочка даже не обиделась: она не только замечательная актриса — святая женщина была, чистый ангел.
