Александру Шаркову 29 лет. В 2023 г. он возглавил Самарскую региональную общественную организацию по поддержке военнослужащих, участвовавших в спецоперации, «Возвращение», а также стал руководителем «Ассоциации ветеранов СВО» в Самарской области.
В том же году Шаркова избрали депутатом тольяттинской гордумы. В парламенте Шарков возглавлял комиссию по контролю, общественной безопасности и соблюдению депутатской этики.

Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
