Перепрочел «Третью четверть» Рубинчика, она все так же хороша, как и полтора года назад. Это советско-латвийский аналог «Над пропастью во ржи» про непутевого мальчишку, который трусит, не знает, куда приткнуться и что с собой делать, но чует, чует всеобщую несправедливость. Местами есть прямые переклички (курсив мой):
«— Куда ни посмотришь, всюду вранье. А ты говоришь — мелочи. Твоя драгоценная Ксения Никифоровна... Ты сама же про нее говорила: "Спекулянтка и дрянь!" А придет она к нам — поцелуйчики, сю-сю-сю. Да как тебя не вырвет от этих поцелуйчиков. Вся жизнь у вас из этих мелочей! Сплошное вранье!..»

He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea.
