Порядком лет назад, когда в учреждениях культуры открылась вдруг повальная мода на "президентство" бывших руководителей, я высказывала свое сугубо отрицательное к этому отношение. Подтверждаю его и сейчас. Вообще, не надо множить в стране так называемых "президентов". Не надо слово делать юридически ничтожным и всуе затаскивать. Президент -- человек, который берет на себя огромную ответственность. Личность, принимающая судьбоносные решения. А статусы "отставленный, но не окончательно отпущенный", "почетная пенсия", "не так обидно" и прочее -- при всем уважении -- пусть приобретут другое наименование.
