Military expert Ivan Stupak suggests that a potential new Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region could have dual objectives: 30% military and 70% political. On the military side, the goal would be to force Russia to relocate troops from areas like Pokrovsk and Kurakhove to Kursk, thereby creating a new pressure point. Politically, the offensive could aim to expose the weakness of Russian authorities and increase tension within Russian society.

Russian monitoring channels report the launch of naval drones towards the shores of occupied Kherson and Crimea.
It seems like Ukraine has launched naval drones during this attack capable of carrying FPV drones that hit air defense positions afterwards near Skadovsk. That is why Ukrainian Navy claimed the destruction of several air defense positions.

Zelensky's evening speech
--
Today I held the Stavka meeting, and there was also a separate report by Commander-in-Chief Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Bargylevych. The first is the protection of our front lines, Pokrovskaya first of all. I am grateful to all the brigades, to each of our soldiers who are there right now.
We discussed the issues of staffing the brigades, as well as rotation. The army needs more internal, systemic changes so that at all levels in the Defense Forces, people management becomes effective. There were also detailed reports today from responsible commanders on the formation and training of our brigades.
I held a meeting with internationalists today: planning our meetings, negotiations for January. We are accelerating the supply of weapons to Ukraine and working for new, longer-term relations with partners. We are preparing good diplomatic news for Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine!

Ukrainian forces are confirmed to be inside Berdin and Novosotnitskii in the Kursk region. Russian sources claim they have already recaptured the villages and remaining Ukrainian forces were dealt with. The latter is unconfirmed. It looks like the AFU has not yet reached Rozgrebli and does not fully control Novosotnitskii to the east. The map is still a rough indication.
