Взаимодействие Томской области с Ираном в последние годы набирает заметные обороты и имеет большие перспективы развития. Владимир Мазур напомнил, что в 2023 году благодаря Посольству Ирана в Москве томская делегация познакомилась с губернатором провинции Тегеран.
Сейчас готовится визит томских научно-образовательных и деловых кругов в Тегеран для знакомства с новым губернатором и с самой провинцией, и в этом году томичи намерен выйти на региональное соглашение о сотрудничестве.
Ещё губернатор рассказал президенту Ирана о научно-технологических достижениях Томской области, о популярности томских университетов у студентов из более чем 90 стран мира, о разработках высокотехнологичного бизнеса и проектах научных центров.
