A delegation from the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM) is on a fact-finding visit to Tomsk Polytechnic University. A ceremonial diploma awarding event took place at RUDN for the first graduates of the "Mining Geology" joint master's program. As part of this program, conducted in English, qualified specialists were trained for the mining sector, including six graduates from the United Republic of Tanzania (the celebration was also attended by a Republic of Namibia national who graduated from NITU "MISIS").

Kirill Prigoda, a renowned polytechnic, assistant at the Higher School of Sports Education at SPbPU, enjoyed triumph at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. He won gold in the combined mixed relay 4Γ100 meters. Prior to that, he secured a silver medal in the individual event for the 50-meter breaststroke.
