Мужчина пытался выбраться из ледяной воды самостоятельно, но помощь от сотрудников МЧС пришла очень вовремя. На берегу уже ждала скорая помощь, медики констатировали переохлаждение и отвезли пострадавшего в Сенненскую районную больницу.

Удивительно, но нетипично теплая для ранней весны погода не остановила в тот же день еще нескольких любителей зимней рыбалки. Подобные случаи были зафиксированы в 8-ми регионах Витебской области. В Браславском, Поставском, Ушачском и Витебском районах 5 рыбаков утонули, в Городокском, Докшицком, Полоцком и Сенненских районах 4-х человек удалось спасти.
