وهرز Wahrez یا وهریز یا بهریز یا بویه فرمانده سپاهی بود که خسرو انوشیروان ساسانی در قرن ۶ میلادی از راه دریا در پاسخ به درخواست کمک سیف بن ذی یزن Sayf ibn Dhi-Yazan به یمن فرستاد و حبشیان را که آنجا را اشغال کرده بودند شکست داد و سیف را حاکم یمن کرد.
سپاه ایران هشتصد نفر در هشت کشتی بودند که با غرق شدن دو کشتی، ششصد نفر به عدن رسیدند. وهرز کشتی‌ها را آتش زد تا سپاهیان امکان عقب‌نشینی نداشته باشند. گرچه تعدادشان کم بود مردم یمن با آن‌ها همراهی کردند و نیز وهرز با تیری فرمانده مقابل را کشت و سبب پراکندگی دشنچمن شد (شعر به تین نکته اشاره دارد) پس از چند سال برخی حبشیان سیف را کشتند و دوباره خسرو وهرز را به یمن فرستاد و حکومت یمن را به او سپرد.
