1 января 2025 года газете «Нивх диф» («Нивхское слово») исполнилось 35 лет

На основании Постановления 8/6/184 от 06 июля 1989 года бюро Сахалинского областного комитета КПСС и исполкома областного Совета народных депутатов было принято решение о выпуске газеты на нивхском языке. Первый номер увидел свет 1 января 1990 года. С 1997 года до сегодняшнего дня тираж – 250 экземпляров, газета распространяется бесплатно.
