Про Диссанаяке в целом пока рано судить, но комплексом сингальско-буддийской исключительности в острой форме он явно не страдает и готов адекватно разговаривать с меньшинствами - как с тамилами-индусами, так и с христианами и мусульманами. Настолько готов, что тамильские избиратели в свою очередь массово готовы голосовать за партию «из Коломбо». Это обнадёживает.
