هدف SCOPH این است که اعضا، درباره‌ی موضوعات مختلف مربوط به سلامتی، و در جهت آگاه‌سازی و آموزش به جامعه در مورد مسائل روز تلاش کنند، با آموخته‌های خود بر آگاهی عمومی اثر گذاشته و به پیشگیری از بیماریها و ارتقای سلامت مردم کمک کنند.
در ایمسا-ایران، جمعی از دانشجویان پزشکی دانش و ایده‌های خود را در جهت سلامت مردم جهان با اعضای SCOPH در سطح بین‌الملل، به اشتراک میگذارند.
🔸️فعالیت‌ها: آموزش، آگاهی‌رسانی، برگزاری کمپینهای مختلف غربالگری بیماریها، پرورش توانمندیهای دانشجویان، ترویج بهداشت، کمک به گروه‌های نیازمند و حمایت از سیاستگذاریهای مفید حوزه سلامت و مطالبه‌گری برای سیاستگذاریها و تصمیم‌گیریهای بهتر در زمینه سلامت است.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
