Уполномоченный по правам человека в Ингушетии наградил медалью за вклад в дело защиты прав граждан министра энергетики и жилищно-коммунального хозяйства республики

Сегодня, Уполномоченный по правам человека в Ингушетии Ибрагим Цечоев наградил министра энергетики и жилищно-коммунального хозяйства республики Ахмета Лолохоева медалью «За защиту прав человека в Республике Ингушетия».

«Совместно с министерством энергетики и жилищно-коммунального хозяйства республики на постоянной основе проводятся приемы граждан, оперативно решаются вопросы по жалобам населения.
Ахмет Алабекович оказывает активное содействие в ходе работы по защите прав граждан на получение коммунальных услуг надлежащего качества», — подчеркнул Уполномоченный.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine.
