در کتاب هايي ک پس از انقلاب منتشر شده شايد کمتر اثري به اندازه ي يادداشت هاي علم چشمگير و بحث انگيز بوده باشد. علّت آن نيز گذشته از مقام بالاي اسدالله علم در نظام پيشين موقع خاصّ او به عنوان دوست و محرم شاه بوده است وي نقش مهمّي در زندگي خصوصي و رسمي شاه داشت. هم به امور شخصي و خانوادگي شاه مي پرداخت و هم واسطه ي اصلي تماس او با سازمان هاي کشوري ايران، شرکت هاي نفتي و نمايندگان سياسي قدرت هاي بزرگ بود. مقام و رابطه ي شخصي علم با شاه به او امکان مي داد که از يک سو شخصيّت و خلق و خوي شاه را بهتر از ديگران بشناسد، و از سوي ديگر با برداشت و ديد شاه در باره مسائل گوناگون و هم چنين فرايند تصميم گيري در حکومت يک تنه ي شاه از نزديک آشنا شود. درنتيجه يادداشت هاي علم، که نويسنده اش آن چه را که هر روزمي ديد و مي دانست در آن نقل و ضبط مي کرد، سندي بي همتا در تاريخ است.

The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences.
