На городских прудах прошло городское празднование Масленицы. Мероприятие посетило несколько тысяч человек.
Радушнее всех жителей и гостей города встретила Ассамблея народов Хабаровского края - всех желающих угощали блинами на национальный лад - корейские блины с кимчи, дальневосточные блины с рыбой и икрой, азербайджанские кутабы, а также национальные угощения от таджиков и узбеков, проживающих в Хабаровском крае.
Одним из первых угощения попробовал мэр Хабаровска Сергей Кравчук.
Для горожан варили солдатскую кашу, устраивали конкурсы для детей и взрослых, а также выступали творческие коллективы с танцами и песнями.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions. Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news.
