27.09.2023 близ деревни Куземовка (Купянское направление ЛНР) получил тяжёлые ранения при исполнении обязанностей военной службы в ходе проведения СВО. При несении боевого дежурства командный пункт подвергся артобстрелу, в результате чего произошло обширное возгорание. Гв.ст.лейтенант вынес из командного пункта боевого товарища, чем спас его жизнь и оборудование для обеспечения дальнейшей бесперебойной работы командного пункта, за что был награждён Орденом Мужества ( посмертно).
