27 октября в офисе Свердловского «Яблока» в Екатеринбурге прошёл традиционный вечер писем политическим заключённым. А мы традиционно помогали в организации мероприятия.
С самыми тёплыми пожеланиями было написано:

Людям, оказавшимся в заключении за свои взгляды и убеждения, очень важно получать поддержку! Недавно освободившийся из колонии Алексей Москалёв рассказал*, какие чувства он испытывал, получая письма от неравнодушных сограждан. И это не может не растрогать 😭
Поэтому призываем Вас делать мир чуточку добрее, оставляя послания тем, кому это необходимо! И особенно благодарим тех, кто уже это делает!

The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups.
