⚠️⚠️زردی تازه‌ی کانال‌های زرد: یک نفر با گذاشتن موزیک با صدای بلند بر روی ویدئویی از اینشتین، مانع آن شده که صدای واقعی (که به انگلیسی با لهجه‌ی آلمانی است) به صورت قابل فهم شنیده شود؛ و زیرنویس نادرستی را برای فیلم گذاشته است. (فیلم مورد اشاره، در پیام قبل و فیلم با صدای قابل فهم در همین پیام) کانال‌های زرد باور کرده‌اند و یکی یکی از روی هم آن را کپی و منتشر کرده‌اند! (پیام قبلی را ببینید.) برخی کانال‌ها که ظاهرشان با کانال‌های زرد کم و بیش فرق می‌کند هم در عمل همان کار کانال‌های زرد را انجام داده‌اند. کاربران زیادی هم طبق معمول مطلب نادرست کانال‌های بی‌هویت و بدهویت را در گروه‌ها فوروارد کرده‌اند و ادمین‌های گروه‌ها و سایر اعضا هم عکس‌العملی نشان نداده‌اند!

What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels.
