TL;DR: после серии тестов определили стратегию Round Robin для распределения новых игр по серверам, значительно снизившую неоднородность загрузки CPU, позволив повысить целевой показатель автоматического масштабирования на 10% (с 40% до 50%). Это привело к 20%-ной экономии на стоимости оборудования, одновременно достигнув лучшего и более стабильного качества игры.
Хотелось, чтоб не было скачков по CPU, чтоб был верхний лимит по CPU (чтоб игры не тупили), но не плодились лишние тачки, когда ещё хватало ресурсов на текущих. В итоге смогли добиться этого.
