Французские СМИ сообщили, что лидер малийской оппозиции, бывший глава Высшего исламского совета Мали Махмуд Дико, находящийся в изгнании в Алжире, может 14 февраля вернуться в Мали.

Ранее Дико выступал с призывом к мятежу против переходных властей, собрав коалицию оппозиционных сторон под названием «Синергия действий для Мали» (SAMA).

«Синергия действий для Мали» (SAMA) – это коалиция оппозиционных партий, включающих «Координацию движений, ассоциаций и сочувствующих» (Coordination des Mouvements, Associations et Sympathisants, CMAS).

Стоит отметить, что Махмуд Дико является одним из самых влиятельных людей в стране. Он представляет исламский политический курс и неоднократно мобилизовал десятки тысяч людей на антиправительственные демонстрации.
