Как постоянный член Совета Безопасности ООН и ответственная держава, Китай намерен вместе с Францией по случаю Олимпийских игр в Париже выступить с инициативой о приостановке огня и боевых действий на время Игр»,— сказал Си на совместной пресс-конференции с президентом Франции Эммануэлем Макроном.
Макрон поблагодарил главу КНР за поддержку мирной инициативы и добавил, что особенно важно добиться мира с соблюдением международного права в Украине. Си Цзиньпин также призвал все стороны российско-украинского конфликта возобновить диалог и провести международную мирную конференцию, которая учитывала бы интересы и России, и Украины.
