ومن الموانع لوقوع التكفير ما قرره ابن القيم في «الوابل الصيب» ص١٩ فقال: «ولم يعرض له مانع يمنع تكفيره ولا مبطل يحبطه من: ❁ عجب ❁ أو رؤية نفسه فيه ❁ أو يمن به ❁ أو يطلب من العباد تعظيمه به ❁ أو يستشرف بقلبه لمن يعظمه عليه ❁ أو يعادي من لا يعظمه عليه ❁ ويرى أنه قد بخسه حقه ❁ وأنه قد استهان بحرمته، فهذا أي شيء يكفر؟!».

And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions.
