Вслед за дедушкой Александр тоже стал сочинять стихи. Вот и появилась на свет книга «Весёлые стихи и песенки», в которой можно прочитать стихи и песенки не только знаменитого поэта, но и его талантливого внука. Творческому тандему удалось передать дух и своеобразие английского детского фольклора – выразительный язык, краткость, народный юмор (порой парадоксальный) и разнообразие жанров.
