Жители станицы Холмская записали видеообращение Владимиру Путину и главе СК Александру Бастрыкину с просьбой остановить уничтожение их земель: «За нашей спиной 1600 гектаров высокоплодородной земли. В центре этого массива местные власти и мусороуборочная компания собираются построить мусорный полигон на 92 гектарах. В данный момент земля засеяна пшеницей. Остановите беспредел местных властей!»
На видео обратил внимание экс-депутат Мосгордумы Евгений Ступин. В ответ на вопрос, куда девать мусор, он предлагает решения: унификацию тары для повторного использования (по примеру СССР), раздельный сбор и переработку отходов.
