24 ноября 2015 г. российский бомбардировщик Су-24М был сбит в Сирии около турецкой границы ракетой воздух-воздух, выпущенной истребителем F-16 ВВС Турции.
Впоследствии лётчики, сбившие самолёт, были арестованы за участие в попытке госпереворота в Турции.
Эта история стала чёрным пятном на истории наших отношений с Турецкой Республикой и одновременно уроком.
По итогам в том числе этого инцидента был сделан вывод о необходимости развития коммуникации с Турцией в сфере безопасности, что в итоге привело и к поставкам С-400, и к созданию треугольника Россия-Турция-Иран по сирийской проблематике.
Сегодня достижения вновь проверяются на прочность.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup.
