О его похоронах сообщили в паблике «Официальный Старый Оскол». В посте говорилось, что он погиб 29 июня 2024 года «при исполнении боевой задачи».
Возможно, мужчина пошёл на войну из-за долгов. На момент начала войны на сайте ФССП за ним числилось более 265 тысяч рублей задолженности по кредитным платежам.
Все долги, согласно сайту судебных приставов, были списаны из-за того, что приставы не нашли у Шурыгина имущество, которое можно было реализовать в счет долгов.
