Ближний Восток – стратегически важный регион с точки зрения логистики. Такое мнение в эфире Белорусского радио высказал политолог Алексей ДЗЕРМАНТ, комментируя визит Президента Беларуси Александра Лукашенко в Оман и ОАЭ.
«Нам есть что предложить этим государствам. Меняется структура международной жизни – это уже не просто сырьевые сателлиты Запада, как некогда было. Эти государства стремятся к большей самостоятельности, в т.ч. в международных делах. Они хотят иметь технологическую базу развития у себя. И в этом смысле Беларусь может многое предложить».

Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips. In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat.
