1877 птиц прошли через штаб в волонтеров в Витязево с 18 по 28 декабря, 1586 из них удалось спасти, однако последствия отравления нефтепродуктами могут привести к гибели пернатых уже на передержке.
С 18 по 28 декабря всего через руки волонтёров прошло 1877 птиц. Больше всего из них чомг, попадались и краснокнижные - чернозобые гагары и хохлатые бакланы, сообщил эколог Георгий Каваносян.
"Самые сложные дни были - 20 и 21 декабря, когда в штаб поступило 736 птиц, 125 из которых, к сожалению, скончались (либо на пляже, либо в дороге, либо уже в штабе)", - написал он. Эколог пояснил, что "спасенные птицы" - те, кого удалось поймать, отмыть от мазута, промыть желудок и стабилизировать.
