The task is to redesign the Telegram chat screen and attachment menu on Android. To take part, send one or more PNG documents with the redesigned chat screen to @design_bot. In addition, send a video document demonstrating how you envision the redesigned attachment menu should work (with an emphasis on sharing photos and videos).
We will look for simplicity, usability, consistency when judging the results. If necessary, feel free to change all the colors of the chat UI, including the default background.
We’ll accept new designs up until the 24th of March. We’ll announce one or more winners (depending on the overall quality of mockups submitted) and distribute $15000 among the winners as prizes in the final week of March.

Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips.
