На Российской, 13, стоит доходный дом Полякова. На нем висит табличка, что это памятник архитектуры начала XX века. По документам – выявленный объект культурного наследия. Один из очень немногих домов в Иркутске с декоративными элементами в стиле модерн. Был.

Летом его ремонтировали и те самые декоративные элементы просто убрали.

На сайте мэрии говорилось, что «проектирование его восстановления и проведение отдельных видов работ находилось под контролем соответствующей региональной службы». Но, видимо, это не относилось к ремонту фасада, да? На него «соответствующая региональная служба» закрыла глаза? Ну кому в самом деле все это надо, да?
