Президент Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган заявил о начале импорта крупного рогатого скота из Уругвая и Бразилии в ответ на резкий рост цен на красное мясо. Несмотря на то, что Управление по вопросам мяса и молока ранее утверждало об отсутствии проблем с запасами, за последнюю неделю в некоторых регионах цены выросли на 60 лир.
Эрдоган подчеркнул: «Чтобы граждане могли покупать красное мясо по ожидаемым ценам, я дал указание оперативно организовать импорт. Мы оценим ситуацию и примем необходимые меры».
