По сообщению нефтяной компании, это еще один шаг в стратегическом альянсе Adani Group и Total, который охватывает инвестиции в СПГ-терминалы, газоснабжение и ВИЭ в Индии. На сегодняшний день в активе AGEL 14,6 ГВт ВИЭ, при этом сейчас эксплуатируется только 3ГВт, еще 3 ГВт находятся в стадии строительства и 8,6 ГВт находятся на стадии разработки. Компания планирует выйти на объём в 25 ГВт солнечной генерации к 2025 году.
Total отмечает, что партнерство с AGEL в области возобновляемых источников энергии в Индии будет ключевым фактором в достижении цели Total предусматривающей выход на уровень 35 ГВт выработки ВИЭ к 2025 году с последующим вводом по 10 ГВт ВИЭ в год.
Планы Индии еще более амбициозные, чем у Total - 450 ГВт ВИЭ к 2030 году. Об этом рассказал глава Adani Group г-н Гаутам Адани.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
