The IDF attacked Houthi targets in Yemen last night.

Around 2:30 a.m., a Houthi missile was launched toward Israel. Sirens were activated in the center of the country. The missile was intercepted, but fragments from the interceptor hit an empty school building in Ramat Efal, causing significant damage.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m., Arab media outlets reported a widespread IDF attack in Yemen on the following targets:

1. The Haziz central power station in the north of the capital, Sana'a.

2. The D'Habban Central Power Station in the south of the capital, Sanaa.

3. The oil facility in Ras Issa, Hodeidah province.

4. Hodeidah Port.

Following the attacks, 9 deaths and 3 injuries were reported among the workers at the Ras Issa oil facility.
Extensive power outages were also reported in Sana'a and Hodeidah.

##
The the attacks were likely planned weeks in advance. The timing of the launch of the ballistic missile by the Houthis before the attacks/in close proximity to them is, to say the least, interesting.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered.
