Я хочу посоветовать вам книжку «Пеликан» Мартина Михаэля Дриссена. Она веселая, местами анекдотная, а еще — с курортными вайбами Югославии. Сюжет завязан на шантаже: почтальон вымогает деньги у фуникулерщика, который изменяет жене. А фуникулерщик вымогает купюры у почтальона, который вскрывает чужие письма.
Смех.
А потом начинается югославская война. Я даже опешила — ведь изначально читала легкую историю. Зато сразу стало понятно название книги: пеликан — символ самопожертвования и милосердия. Так и обоих героев романа — можно пожалеть и простить за их подлости.
Меня же больше напугало, как из-за войны человек теряет интерес к жизни. Когда становится некому дарить заботу, то позже перестаешь видеть смысл в любви.
Не надо так.
