Газпромбанк объявил, что с 26 ноября установит комиссию за снятие наличных в банкоматах и пунктах выдачи валюты банка, а также банков-участников корпоративной сети и сторонних банков в 5,9% от суммы + 590 рублей с кредитной карты "180 дней UnionPay" для новых и текущих клиентов. Ранее можно было снять до 50 тысяч рублей с такой карты без комиссии.
Банк вместе с другими финансовыми организациями накануне попал под санкции США. ГПБ предупредил клиентов о трудностях с работой карт UnionPay за рубежом. Банк призвал находящихся за рубежом держателей карты UnionPay снять наличные для оплаты покупок.

Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. "Russians are really disconnected from the reality of what happening to their country," Andrey said. "So Telegram has become essential for understanding what's going on to the Russian-speaking world."
