So I beg all of you to join me in taking a moment to ask motives about statements this coming year. Look at the generalisations and say "do the exceptions prove the rule or point to a flaw?" and "bad people can do shit we agree with and we don't have to agree or condemn them fully". That latter one is going to be very important I have a feeling.

All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal.
