О ликвидации открытого огня сообщил сегодня, 13 января, губернатор Саратовской области Роман Бусаргин, отметив, что работа спасателей на нефтебазе продолжается.
Пожар на нефтебазе комбината «Кристалл» начался в ночь на 8 января после атаки беспилотников, в Энгельсе ввели режим ЧС. Во время тушения пожара погибли двое спасателей, еще один пострадал.
Генштаб ВСУ объяснил атаку на нефтебазу в Энгельсе тем, что она «снабжала топливом военный аэродром «Энгельс-2», где базируется стратегическая авиация врага».
Жители города несколько дней жаловались на смог из-за пожара. Но губернатор и Роспотребнадзор заявили, что загрязнения воздуха в Энгельсе не было.
