Heute ist in Hannover Ricklingen im Freizeitheim ein AfD Stammtisch. Es kommen MdEP Dr. Maximilian Krah, MdL NRW Dr. Martin Vincentz, MdL und Landesvorsitzender AfD Niedersachsen Ansgar Schledde so wie MdB Dirk Brandes und einige mehr. Das Bündnis Bunt statt Braun, die Omas gegen Rechts und der Freundeskreis Hannover haben zu einer Gegendemo aufgerufen. Wir werden vor Ort sein und live berichten. Laut den Initiatoren der Gegendemo kommt auch Bernd Höcke. Das Stimmt aber definitiv NICHT. Bekommen wohl sonst keine Leute mehr motiviert? Die wollen auch schon um 15 Uhr anfangen. Einlass ist allerdings erst ab 17.30Uhr und Beginn um 18.15Uhr. Ich werde ab ca. 16Uhr vor Ort sein und sobald was sehenswertes passiert Live gehen. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions.
