Накануне на Байкале разгулялся ветер, его порывы, достигавшие 35 метров в секунду, оказались разрушительными для значительной части льда в проливе Малое Море Прибайкальского национального парка.

Как итог, к сегодняшнему утру пролив остался практически без зимнего покрова севернее мысов Тонкий и Будун.

Тем не менее, переправа на остров Ольхон «Куркут – Хулы» продолжает функционировать, поскольку лёд на этом направлении на большей части трека движения, сохранился.
