Когда ее спросили в чем разница между репрессиями в СССР и сейчас, главная мысль была такая: во времена СССР распространять информацию было сложнее и медленнее, чем сейчас. Сейчас мы узнаем о репрессиях, арестах, войнах практически в тот момент что они происходят.
Поэтому в те времена для государства важно было иметь полномасштабную машину репрессий для миллионов, и соотношение насилие vs пропаганда было 80/20.
А сейчас это соотношение 20/80. Мне кажется, очень точно.
