В монографии "Бог, вселенная и человек" автор А.В. Нестерук производит переоценку современного подхода к посредничеству или диалогу между космологией и христианским богословием (в его восточно-православном изводе).
В отличие от многих исследований на эту тему, автор использует современные идеи феноменологической философии, чтобы эксплицировать главный тезис о том, что диалог представляет собой нескончаемую герменевтику человеческого состояния. Отсюда делается вывод, что космология и богословие дополняют друг друга в понимании положения человека во вселенной.
В книге формулируются проблемы, касающиеся интерпретации некоторых традиционных богословских идей, возникающие в контексте быстро развивающихся исследований в космологии, астрономии и астробиологии, а также технологического освоения планеты.
